Ausflugstipp Regatta-Segeln (with an english-description)

Zur Zeit können wir leider keine längeren Touren machen, deshalb haben wir heute einen AUSFLUGSTIPP für euch:

In den Sommermonaten findet mittwoch nachmittags auf dem Ruppiner See ein Regatta-Segeln statt. Wer also viele Segelboote auf einmal sehen möchte, sollte sich mittwochs ab 18 Uhr auf der Promenade einfinden und beim Regatta-Segeln zuschauen.

Gesetzt sind drei Bojen in Dreieckform, die es in einem bestimmten Ablauf zu umrunden gilt. Im Endeffekt sind es drei Runden, die gesegelt werden und es ist ein tolles Erlebnis, dabei zuzusehen.

Die nächsten Termine im Juli sind entsprechend der 3., der 10. und der 17.

Da wir auf der Promenade dann heute an der „Schwanentreppe“ waren und Farino sich etwas zurück halten musste, weil hier die Schwäne quasie Hausrecht haben, gibt es auch kein Foto von Farino vor den Segelbooten. Dafür haben zwei Schwäne mittlerweile gelernt, das Farino denen gar nichts tut, sondern einfach nur sitzt oder liegt und guckt.

Und wie das so ist mit meinem Hund, er frisst sein Trockenfutter irgendwie am liebsten unterwegs. Also habe ich ihn in den letzten Tagen an der Promenade damit gefüttert, wo wir abends oft sind, weil ich denke, er bekommt dort mehr Sauerstoff. Heute hat er dann beschlossen, wenn er mit mir raus geht, nimmer er selbst Proviant mit – und sich ein getrocknetes Schweineohr mitgenommen um das vor den Schwänen dann genüsslich zu zerknurpseln.

At time we can´t make longer trips, because Farino has DCM, a cardiac disease at an advanced stage. Very horrible, but he´s a fighter. At time we had cool weather, and he´s according the circumstances fine.

So we´ve a (tourist) attraction for you. During summer the „Neuruppiner Segler Club“ (the sailing-club here) has at Wednesdays a sailing regatta. Start is at 6 pm in front of the promenade.

They sailing course is to circuit three buoys in three different laps. It looks very nice and sometimes spectacular. The next regatta-days are 3., 10. and 17. july. For more informations see the link "Ruppiner Segler Club" above. Thanks.

Because Farino hat a lack of oxygen in his blood, we´re every evening at the promenade. There`s often a little bit windy, so my intuitively says, it´s better for the dog there. Two swans like us and comes to us, if we´re there and wait for feeding. Because – they don´t like dog-goodies. So sometimes I´ve a piece of bread for the swans. Do you know, that swans sounds like small remote-controlled cars? They make a sound like “brum-brum-brum”. Very funny.

I like it so sit there on the stage by the water and to observe the different birds… we´ve a lot of swallows in our town an some of it are hunting her feed close to the water surface. If you´ve some time, you can see fishes who looks for feed at the water surface. But you need a midge repellent or you looks like a crumb cake.
